Diamond Confetti – Make Your Wedding Sparkle

Your wedding is the most important day in your life.  You have been dreaming about it for years, and now you are in the process of planning it.  You want every detail to be perfect and everything that you had dreamed of.  Most brides to be hope that their weddings have a little special something that makes them memorable for all who attend.  In fact, it is paying attention to the details that can take your wedding from ho hum to extraordinary.  If you want to add a little pizzazz to your event without spending too much money you might want to use diamond confetti.

Diamond confetti is actually top quality acrylic “diamonds”. They come in a variety of sizes the smallest of which is about the size of a 1/3 carat jewel.  They are cut to be flawless and brilliant.  The great thing is that you can get diamond confetti to coordinate with any wedding color scheme.  You can choose from a simple clear confetti, purple, pink, lavender, antique gold, blue, red, fuchsia, or green.

When your guests walk into your reception you want them to be blown away by how beautiful the room is.  There are many different ways that diamond confetti can help to create that reaction.  The first way that you can use them is to simply scatter them on tables to add some sparkle.  You want to definitely do this on the tables that hold the place cards, presents, and wedding cake.  Additionally, you can use these little jewels on the individual reception tables if you like.

You can also use the diamond confetti within your floral arrangements.  Beyond simply surrounding the vases with the confetti, you can actually use the confetti in the base of your floral arrangements.  Sprinkle the confetti in the bottom of each vase, and then build the floral arrangements over top of that.  It will give your centerpieces that extra sparkle that you are looking for.

Additionally, if you are not going to have floral centerpieces you can use that diamond confetti to jazz up each table.  Try pulling some glass cylinders of various sizes.  Fill some with the diamond confetti.  Then fill some of the others with colored water and some floating candles.  This will give your tables something of visual interest, and the candle light will help the confetti to really sparkle.

Or perhaps use the diamond confetti to create a crystal tree on each table.  Simply get a glass vase and some tree branches.  If you would like you can spray paint your branches white, silver, black, or gold to compliment your color scheme.  Then you can use a hot glue gun to affix your confetti to the branches.  From there you can arrange them in a vase, and pad the bottom of the base with more of the diamond confetti.  This is a really great idea for those who are on a budget, but want a show stopping centerpiece.
