Our Diesel Fire Pump are designed to be as easy as possible to transport and operate on board ships. This is achieved by using a heavy duty and highly corrosion resistant marine grade aluminium alloy that has been powder coated. The pump casing is also designed to withstand significant input pressure from hydrant/relay pumping which allows the water pressure from the pump to be boosted without exceeding the pump’s pressure rating. Powering the water pump is a reconditioned Ford in-line 4 cylinder diesel engine developing 44 kW (60hp). The engine and pump are protected by a heavy duty steel frame that ensures both the engine and the pump are kept secure from all angles.

The flanges on the rotary nozzle connections are fitted with Storz C-2″ couplings which allow for a quick and safe connection of the nozzles. The pump itself is built based on the well-known and proven DESMI SA pump series. The pump casing is made of seawater resistant aluminium and the impeller from stainless steel. The pump is close coupled to a newly developed lightweight hand start Hatz diesel engine with electric start available as an option.
